Long-time Aurora Resident – My family moved to Aurora (from Lakewood) when I was seven years old, and I am proud to call Aurora home. I have lived here for over thirty years and am looking forward to living here for another thirty+ years.
Husband – I have the best wife in the world. She is incredible! Her love, support, and advice are an absolute necessity and treasure to me. She is so strong and has a stable outlook to life. I would not be who I am without her.
Father – One of my greatest joys in life is watching my four children grow up here. I have gained so much pleasure from being involved in the many different aspects and interests of their lives. I have also had the privilege of coaching many seasons of community soccer teams through the Aurora Parks and Recreation department (including being voted “Coach of the Year” in 2022). This has brought our family together with other incredible families in Aurora. Aurora has some pretty amazing families!
Pastor – I am a Christian Pastor. I am unashamedly a follower of Jesus Christ and the Bible. I am far from perfect, but through Jesus I have found security, satisfaction, and strength in life. I have an undergraduate degree in Biblical Studies (Theology/Greek) and a master’s degree in Religious Education.
Director / Public Servant – I am director of the Woodside Baptist/Kingdom Building Foodbank ministry. As a partner agency of the Foodbank of the Rockies, we have been able to distribute (literally) millions of pounds of food to those in our community who need food. (Please check us out on Facebook if you or someone you know is in need).
CABC Officer – Appointed in 2018, I have thoroughly enjoyed learning and interacting with the city budget process through the Citizens’ Advisory Budget Committee (CABC). This committee has produced dozens of city councilors through the years, and I have had the privilege of serving as one of its’ three executive officers for the last five years - including Chair of the committee).
